These tribal populations have poor oral health knowledge and status and need greater attention from dentists.
These populations also do not avail of oral health services as needed and tend to follow the traditional indigenous ways of cure.In this survey model, MOCS provides a comprehensive data collection recording platform to:• Assess knowledge, awareness, and attitude towards oral precancer and cancer.• Estimate the prevalence of oral pre-cancer and cancer in the defined population and calculate risk scores.• Explore and determine the health-seeking behavior in terms of utilizing dental health facilities and the process of illness/problem response.• Analyze the efforts taken by the proximal oral health care facilities in attending to this community and barriers or difficulties faced by the organization regarding the same.
